My Favorite Turkey Burgers

So it's over a month since Christmas and I'm still loving my new George Foreman grill. I've been grabbing any opportunity to use it, and that includes making lots of burgers!

Admiral makes these really great turkey burgers but I had never been able to make turkey burgers I liked until recently. I figured out the trick (using the higher fat ground turkey) and now I've added my personal favorite, go-to burger seasoning. I use this seasoning on my burgers almost every time. It's really the best burger seasoning and all of the spices are pantry staples so I can make them anytime!

FYI: These are out of this world with homemade buns, which are coming up very, very soon!

My Favorite Turkey Burgers

Source: Totally Original

1 lb ground turkey
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
4 hamburger buns
fixin's (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, cheese, mustard, mayo, honey mustard, etc.)

Place the ground turkey, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika in a mixing bowl.

Mix gently just until the spices are incorporated.

Form into four relatively equal patties. (I made three because there are only three of us and our buns were quite large.) Spray the patties with vegetable oil spray on both sides.

Slap those burgers on the grill (or in a grill pan or in my case the George Foreman grill) and cook about 8 minutes on each side or until they're cooked all the way through and have some nice grill marks on both sides.

Serve on burger buns with whatever fixin's you like. I went with Meunster cheese, mayonnaise, and mustard this time.
