Menu for 2/6/15-2/12/15

Well, Bailey had her yearly checkup with the neurosurgeon this week and he said everything still looks good which is great news! There's no evidence of shunt malfunction and she still has plenty of tubing to accommodate growth. She doesn't have to go back for another year. Nana and I took lunch to Yaya at the school to celebrate.

I've been doing a lot of work for the blog lately. I have a handful of posts set up and scheduled to go up three days a week for the next couple of weeks. It's a great feeling to be ahead. Hopefully sometime before the end of the month I'll have a cheesecake recipe to share with you and I'm working on a ton of other recipes. Some are variations or updates of recipes I've made before, some are two-part recipes (those are going to be so fun to write up), and some are just things that I make regularly and never thought of sharing until recently.

As you can see, I'm super excited about all of the upcoming posts!

Now it's time for some questions and I hope some of you will comment your answers. What do you like about the blog and want to see more of? I was also thinking of starting a new mini-feature about cooking terminology where I would define a cooking technique and then post a recipe as an example. Would that interest you or bore you?

Let me know what you think and here's this week's menu.
