Menu for 10/27/14-11/2/14

Okay, so I know I'm a little behind this week but I promise there's a good reason. I'm also going to cut this post a bit short but again, good reason.

Bailey is turning 3 this weekend and I have been working super hard on her birthday party. Bailey's Birthday Bash will be Sunday and the only thing on my mind this week should be getting decorations and food and making the cake (and somehow finding a picture of Tinkerbell that will fit on her cake) and all the little details that go into making her birthday super special. Unfortunately we have hit an unexpected speed bump.

Bailey has a cold. It's no big deal, nothing major or anything. It's just a little sniffle but if you've ever cared for a toddler with a cold you know they magically become tiny whining, leaking, snoring monsters. Bailey can't sleep in her bed when she has a cold because she can never breathe through her nose unless she's sitting up (or propped up against me most often). I can't sleep because I have to sit up in the recliner or the glider with her most of the night. She also needs a lot more rest during the day so that nixes my scheduled shopping trips for a few days.

I promise that next week I will catch you up on what's going on in our world and I'll probably dedicate a post to bragging about her awesome birthday party but for now, well... I have a feeling I'll be hearing her whining in her room in about half an hour so I'm gonna crank out the menu and get off the computer as quickly as possible.
