Menu for 1/16/15-1/22/15

This week hasn't been busy but it's sure felt like it. I've been at home three days in a row, never leaving the house but still feel like I haven't rested. One night of good sleep leads into three nights of insomnia and then I'm exhausted all day long. Eventually I'll learn how to sleep right.

I am happy to report that our double date with my brother was a super fun time! We had stuffed shells and rosemary garlic knots and played Settlers of Catan. My brother was the only one of the four of us who had ever played so he helped us learn the rules a bit and of course won the game because we had no idea what we were doing. It was still a blast to play with them and also was nice to have a Bailey-free evening. I don't like being away from her often or for very long but a few hours every once in a while is definitely nice.

I'm excited about a few upcoming recipes. I've finally managed to get the photos of my Christmas cookies on the computer and I'm in the process of typing up the recipes for you. Hopefully I'll be able to get at least one of them up this week.

Here's the plan!

Breakfast- cereal and milk
Lunch- leftover spaghetti
Dinner- honey lime marinated chicken, cheesy rice, black beans, and steamed broccoli

Breakfast- chicken biscuits
Lunch- leftovers
Dinner- chicken parmesan, spaghetti marinara, and garlic toast

Breakfast- breakfast burritos
Lunch- leftovers
Dinner- Admiral will provide dinner

Breakfast- yogurt and apple slices
Lunch- cheesy Italian pasta shells
Dinner- turkey lasagna and garlic toast

Breakfast- pancakes and bacon
Lunch- leftover lasagna
Dinner- crock pot ham and white beans and cornbread

Breakfast- yogurt and apple slice
Lunch- leftover ham and beans
Dinner- maple dijon roast pork, mashed potatoes, green beans, and macaroni and cheese

Breakfast- cereal and clementines
Lunch- leftover pork sandwiches
Dinner- chili in bread bowls
