Updates

In case you haven't noticed there are a few updates to the page. I've added some new features to help readers navigate the page and to highlight some of the most popular posts.

There's a search bar at the top left corner where you can type in what you're looking for and get a list of matches or near matches. Also, along the top of the page under the blog title is a sort of index to guide you to a particular type of recipe. For example you can click chicken and you'll get a list of all of the dishes that include or feature chicken.

Along the right side of the blog is the archive list which has always been there, but if you scroll down a little further you'll see the top 5 most viewed posts. These may change from day to day because they're the top viewed over the past 30 days.

Above the archive list are a couple of ways you can follow the blog. You can even submit your e-mail address to be alerted to new posts. If you're anything like me this should keep you from forgetting how to find the page. I have a tendency to visit a blog and then lose the URL.

Finally, if you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page you'll see some of the blogs I follow and their most recent posts. These are favorites of mine and I get a lot of my recipes and inspiration from them. I learn from other bloggers every time I read their posts so I wanted to be sure and give them the credit they deserve for shaping my blog.

I hope these updates make your experience here better. Let me know how you like them and if there's anything else you think would make the blog more accessible.
