Menu for 10/14/13-10/20/13

We had a fun week!  Nana got to come home from rehab this week, and I feel like I actually accomplished things this week.  I don't know why but I was on top of the cooking and cleaning stuff every day.

We switched our weekly plans with Yaya to Mondays instead of Tuesdays leaving me four blissful days in a row to do home things.  I do laundry, clean the bathroom, living room, and Bailey's room, buy groceries, plan meals... I even worked in a cupcake order this weekend.  I am so on the ball!


I also haven't slept much.  For some reason I have horrible insomnia and can't seem to fall asleep at night.  I can't get my brain to shut down.  I keep thinking of things I need to get done and the longer I think about it the more it bothers me and I end up getting out of bed and doing things instead of sleeping.  Also, just as I was about to drift off the other night I realized that EEK! Bailey's birthday is in three weeks and I don't have the stuff to make her cake or her birthday gift or a plan for the food or invitations oh my goodness what am I going to do?!

Anyway... This is the plan for the week.

Monday:
Breakfast- yogurt and cereal
Lunch- spicy sausage pasta skillet
Dinner- Yaya will provide dinner

Tuesday:
Breakfast- oatmeal with raisins and brown sugar
Lunch- leftovers
Dinner- chili dog casserole

Wednesday:
Breakfast- scrambled eggs and toast
Lunch- leftovers
Dinner- crock pot Italian chicken and pasta with salad

Thursday:
Breakfast- yogurt and cereal
Lunch- leftovers
Dinner- ginger chicken and broccoli with rice

Friday:
Breakfast- oatmeal with cranberries and honey
Lunch- leftovers
Dinner- ranch crusted chicken, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and green beans

Saturday:
Breakfast- chicken biscuits
Lunch- leftovers
Dinner- spaghetti and meatballs, salad, and garlic toast

Sunday:
Breakfast- chicken biscuits
Lunch- apples, cheese, and turkey
Dinner- Admiral will provide dinner
