Also, I discovered a new coffee creamer that I like and I plan on learning to make it at home. I go through a lot of creamer because I prefer a little coffee with my creamer. I am a huge fan of the Coffee-Mate Italian sweet cream and creme brulee. I usually don't care for International Delight, but they have new Coldstone Creamery flavors and they are fabulous.
What might this week have in store? Possibly a new chicken salad recipe, definitely a new chicken marinade recipe, and I may even get around to sharing a simple sausage gravy recipe that I use regularly.
My very first post was just short of a year ago so I've been looking over last year's posts. I've especially enjoyed seeing how much better my photographs are getting and how my writing has improved, but also checking out the most popular posts.

I was so anxious to try this one when I found it on Pinterest. A lovely casserole style chicken Parmesan, no frying involved, and if you happen to have an oven safe skillet there's very little clean up. I don't know why, but we haven't had it again since. When I realized how long it had been since I made it I put it on the menu this month and as it turns out it's coming up this week!
I do like casseroles. This one has been a popular post ever since someone pinned it on Pinterest. I'm surprised how popular the recipe is since the meal is such a total mess, it's not very pretty either in the pan or on the plate, but apparently just the description of taco filling and tater tots smothered in melty cheese is enough to reel people in.
This recipe is particularly enticing now that the weather has turned a bit colder. Tender potatoes and salty smoked sausage are drowned in a creamy cheese sauce. We actually haven't had it since I posted the recipe, but Aaron is warming up to smoked sausage. I might sneak it onto next month's menu if I see some cold weather on it's way.
The title really is a great description. My original post of this recipe wasn't all that great. The pictures were dark and blurry and the tomato sauce gave it a funny texture. Aaron wasn't fond of the recipe anyway so I revamped and reposted it and I can't get enough. We usually have it for lunch because Bailey just gobbles it down and it's nice to have something warm in the middle of the day.
This one was mainly for Aaron since I have such an aversion to buffalo sauce ever since I was pregnant, but I discovered I actually like it when mixed with ranch dressing, pasta, and cheese. The ranch dulls the spice of the buffalo sauce and I'm a fan of almost anything with lots of melted cheese. It's even good leftover which is good because the recipe makes a ton.
A easy but flavorful crock pot meal that (depending on your side dishes) can be quite healthy. Serve it with some simple steamed veggies, brown rice, and a frozen veggie egg roll and you can practically do away with that Chinese take-out menu.
