I've been spending some time catching up on the blogs I've gotten behind on lately. Annie's kids, Andrew and Caroline, are frequently the star of the show as is Kristin's cutie, Lincoln, on Iowa Girl Eats. I just eat it up, all the goofy pictures and funny stories. Kids are the best!
And speaking of kids I finally got to meet our neighbor's new addition. He was six weeks old on Friday when I finally walked over their shower gift.

I thought Bailey would be excited to see another little one, but I think she was too busy pretending to be shy to notice him until he started crying as we were on our way out the door.
There are lots of birthdays coming up in the next few weeks. Aaron's mom, my Nana, and Li'l P. I'll be quite busy with cakes and birthday dinners and cookies for awhile. If they all turn out well I hope to be sharing some of the recipes with you.
This is the plan for the week.
Monday:
Breakfast- bacon, eggs, and cheese grits
Lunch- bacon grilled cheese sandwiches and salad
Dinner- Yaya will provide dinner
Tuesday:
Breakfast- banana and chocolate chip oatmeal
Lunch- chicken veggie spaghetti pie and salad
Dinner- baked chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, macaroni and cheese, salad, and Hawaiian rolls
Wednesday:
Breakfast- strawberry, peanut butter, and chocolate chip quesadillas
Lunch- chicken veggie spaghetti pie and salad
Dinner- leftover baked chicken sandwiches, garlic fries, macaroni and cheese, and salad
Thursday:
Breakfast- yogurt and cereal
Lunch- leftover chicken and salad
Dinner- homemade bacon cheeseburger hamburger helper, salad, and Hawaiian rolls
Friday:
Breakfast- eggs and toast
Lunch- leftover hamburger helper and salad
Dinner- loaded potato and buffalo chicken casserole, salad, and Hawaiian rolls
Saturday:
Breakfast- bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits
Lunch- leftover casserole and salad
Dinner- Yaya's crock pot roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, peas, macaroni and cheese, yeast rolls and Aaron's mom's Neapolitan birthday cake
Sunday:
Breakfast- sausage, gravy, and biscuits
Lunch- leftovers and salad
Dinner- Admiral will provide dinner
