Menu for 12/23/13-12/29/13

This week is going to be tough. It seems like we have something planned for every single day. In fact, it seems like we have pre-nap and post-nap plans every day.

We have dinner with Yaya, a visit with Aaron's Mamaw, Christmas celebrations with Nana, Yaya, Admiral (whose family has all come in from out of town to visit), and Grandmother and Papaw, a birthday celebration for my cousin, and at some point I'm going to have to do some grocery shopping and laundry. Who needs sleep, right?

I got to spend some quality time with my bestie on Saturday making cookies! I came home with tons of cookies, and I do mean tons.

I made 15 dozen oatmeal chocolate chip cookies,

4 dozen Kisses candy cane blossoms,

and 2 dozen tea cakes. Plus, I came home with a huge plateful of Anna's chocolate and vanilla fudge, and my favorite, peanut butter cups. Don't worry, I plan on sharing recipes for most of this when I actually have time to sit down and type up a few posts again.

I may need to take a small break until after the new year starts. It won't be long and I still plan on posting the weekly menu with links to the recipes when I have them. I'll be back before you know it with plenty of delicious new recipes to post and hopefully a few cute stories and pictures of Bailey to share.

These are my plans for the week, though they are subject to change since, ya know... family, yeah.
